In our quest to provide our smallholder farmers with quality day-old chicks to achieve our purpose of making smallholder farmers healthier and wealthier, we took a very significant step in the history of PPL to cut sod for the construction of our first breeder farm at Atwima Trabuom in the Ashanti region of Ghana. The sod-cutting ceremony was graced by the Traboum traditional council led by the Chief of Trabuom, The Ashanti Regional Animal Production Officer of the Department of Agriculture, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Ghana National Fire Service. the project consultant Prometheus Group, the contractor-Godamp Venutres and the Staff of PPL were also present in this all-important event. The project is expected to be completed very soon for its intended purpose of quality Day-Old Chick production for poultry.
